Every moment is special
if you see it as a gift
a moment of simply being
no place for trouble or rift

 

you wake up in the morning
knowing we all have our time
life is all too terribly short 
to waste it is the ultimate crime

 

be present with your loves
even with nothing to say
enjoy the peaceful silence 
no matter the time of day

 

life is about simple rhymes 
the ones given or we create 
there is no place for intolerance
people who carry around hate

 

hug the ones you treasure 
give your voice time to sing 
reach within your own true soul
let the beauty simply ring

 

Every moment is special 
if we only choose to see 
that moments are like gold 
glistening between you and me
