The sounds of music

are always there

outside our front doors

inside our sweet souls

beneath our tired feet

beside us in the dark

the sounds of music

are everywhere, everyday

within our loving hearts

between the ragged lines

around the corner waiting

footprints where we have been

the sounds of music

fill our days and sleepless nights

dancing in the twilight

a top the highest mountain peak

during warm summer nights

and in our wildest dreams
